ACT Advanced Practice Project Team

The BC Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Advanced Practice Project Team is a specialized group in British Columbia dedicated to improving care for individuals with severe mental illness who have complex needs. 

Their work involves implementing best practices for Assertive Community Treatment teams across the province, ensuring high-quality, community-based support.

Ruby Wong is a trained as an occupational therapist with a Bachelors in Human Kinetics and a Bachelor of Science, Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia.  She has over 10 years of clinical experience in community mental health including early psychosis, housing and outreach in Richmond, Vancouver and Melbourne, Australia.  More recently, she has gained extensive experience in regional projects with clinical education and virtual health as an educator and planner. She has a keen interest in providing barrier-free access to practical tools and resources to frontline clinicians.
