The Manager, also known as a Clinical Operations Leader or Program Manager, the Manager represents the leadership role within the health authority. A Manager may have various backgrounds, including healthcare or business administration.

 

The role of the Manager includes, but is not limited to, these duties:

  • Recruits, retains, and promotes a diverse complement of staff who reflect the demographic characteristics of the programs’ service area
  • Implements and monitors an annual operating budget 
  • Ensures health-authority policies and initiatives relevant to ACT are implemented
  • Collaborates and communicates with operational leaders of relevant programs and services for their ACT program
  • Advocates for ACT service providers, clients and their chosen family as required
